All New Changes in My Sitcom
After great consideration and taking into account everyone's feedback I have decided to change a few things from my sitcom.
New Pitch:
Hara's family hitch-hike on her life and move near the student accommodation and rub up against the London culture and her flat-mates while her parents Andy and Stav try to re-ignite their sex lives.
Development on all my characters (everything in red is what is new)

I was inspired by Fresh Meat the British comedy series about university students living in student accommodation. Each character was peculiar in their own way and each characters had their own thing happening. Slightly different from mine - the main focus will remain on Hara and her Greek family rather than the rest of the students.
For the location and the plot I felt that it wasn't really going anywhere. I was finding it difficult to picture a story line and a plot for the sitcom with my location and my characters. With the new characters (who are English) it allows me to show a comparison between the two cultures in a funny way. I got rid of one of the brothers because it was just too many characters and they didn't really play an important role in my sitcom. New Locations:
- Uncle Panny's living room
- Uncle Panny's kitchen
- Hara's bedroom
- Local Pub
- University cafeteria
- Local Greek Orthodox Church
Why these changes:

The sitcom has taken a drastic change from being based around your stereotypical conservative greek family. I have made the mother (Andy) more hippie, with her beliefs in crystals and energy, the grandfather (Pappou Andrea) is an alcoholic in his old age, Giagia Maria is still trying to arrange marriage for Hara and will go to any extent to find the perfect greek man.
A sitcom has to be over the top like Ab Fab, Miranda, Only Fools and Horses. In the beginning I was afraid to make my characters extravagant incase it was too much but with the new developments I have a much clearer picture in my head of where I will take things - I can imagine the house, the new characters and the contrast between the two cultures.
