After discussing with my group what type of people we decided to settle on people who our audience can relate to. Meaning we wanted them to be of similar age and have a good knowledge on the topic.

Why we choose them: my group and I decided to choose these three to interview for various of reasons. We wanted to interview young people, so our target audience could relate to them but also because they have a different/more modern look on fashion and drag queens. We wanted Amy because she has a wide fan base with her fashion blog/knowledge/opinion on fashion, and you can see she is easy to talk to and knows what to say. We chose Wilson because we were aware that he dressed in drag drag and by speaking to him we knew that he would have a lot to say about the treatment of drag and make up. Furthermore, when speaking to Wilson you could tell he was relaxed and had no problem discussing about drag queens. With Irene, we wanted an extra opinion on the use of fur in fashion, we chose her because she is studying Fashion Design and wants to be a future designer. Therefore we felt that she would have an opinion about current designers and the choices they are making in the use of fur and how she would like to see that change.

How we knew of them and chose them: Truthfully we knew our contributors from university. Wilson was very approachable and easy to talk to, so we felt comfortable to ask him to take part in our video. We knew Amy from her blog as well and approached her to see if she would also be willing to share her views on our video, and luckily she was.
