IDEA

After pitching our ideas to Helen and the group, we decided to go with Cheyennes and Saskias ideas. We thought a good idea would be to put them together and come up with a news channel that discuss the topics about the origins of make up trends and the ethics of fashion.

25 word Pitch:
Face value is an unique online digital news channel where we bring you the ethics behind the latest trends you simply cannot turn a blind eye to

Here is our idea:
Aim: make people aware of the ethical side of fashion (mainly fur), also show that the majority of trends did not originate from celebrities (such as the Kardashians) but actually started from drag queen.
Why: we decided to focus on this topic as there is a gap in the market for such a channel. There are plenty of make up/fashion sites but none that discuss the issues of growing trends
Who: we will be aiming for females between the age of 16-27. As for our package we are planning on interview drag queens and people who know about fashion.
What: for the live video we want t interview professionals and ask them questions about te industry, we also want to interview a drag queen about makeup
Where: we have decided to keep it local. Therefore we are focusing on Maidstone, Rochester, Chatham.

Roles assigned to group members:
Loggo:
Website: Cheyenne
Editing: Saskia
Camera: Cheyenne, Saskia
Sound: Rosie, Imogen
Director: Rosie
Producer: Imogen
Writer: all
Presenter/Reporter: All

Although we have assigned roles for each member we are still working in a team (we all have an input). As for directing, we would all like to give it a go so it will be shared.

Different areas that we will cover:
Fashion (live): ethics of fur, why is it lavish (Cheyenne will be reporter)
Make-up: drag queen, where did the trends originate from? (Saskia will be reporter)
This or That: a more uplifting section where we discuss why something is more popular that another thing (Imogen will be reporter)
Rosie will be the presenter
