Three act structure of my Episodes

Episode 2

3 Stories:
1. Hara things she gets a date with Mr Conrad but makes a fool of herself
2. Andy goes yoga and ends up being invited to a swingers party
3. Uncle Panny and Pappou Andrea make home made Zivania, sell it at Swingers party but everyone reacts badly to it

Structure of Stories:
Issue 1: Hara wants to get a date with Mr Conrad
Event: Ends up over dressing for the house gathering and humiliates herself by getting drunk
Conclusion: Hara ends up getting drunk and throws up on Mr Conrad as she confesses her love for him

Issue 2: Andy goes to a swingers party to reignite her love life
Event: whilst there they sell the home made Zivania where they all begin to hallucinate
Conclusion: They run away from the party before people release what is happening

Issue 3: Pappou Andrea and Uncle Panny want to make proper Zivania
Event: They set up a 'lab' in the basement to make it
Conclusion: They sell it at the swingers party

Episode 3

3 stories: 
1. Yiayia Maria and Pappou Andrea go to his brothers house to arrange marriage for Hara
2. Hara is singing in the uni talent show with Chantelle and Sebastian
3. Andy and Stav role play as Greek Gods:

Structure of stories:
Issue 1: Yiayia Maria makes loads of food to take with them
Event: Yiayia Maria disagrees with Panayiota's food and Pappou Andrea disagrees on the guy for Hara because of the football team he supports.
Conclusion: Pappou Andrea attacks Michali  and then storms out

Issue 2: Hara wants to impress Mr Conrad with her talent and the uni talent show
Event: Embarrasses herself by not knowing what she is actually doing on stage, and then peeing herself in front of him, clothes become see through and her make up is smudged
Conclusions: Mr Conrad notices her peeing herself and her see through clothes. He also notices Hara getting into a creepy white van with Stav wearing a thong, kimono and pink fluffy slippers

Issue 3: Stav and Andy decide to to roel playing as greek gods
Event: Stav doesn't really understand what it is that he has to do, and thinks on the spot by dressing himself in the curtains and is also too distracted by food to focus on Andy
Conclusion: As Andy gets up to leave, her hair gets caught in one of the hooks from the curtain making Stav cut it off

Episode 4

Stories: 
1. Hara wants to impress Mr Conrad with her knowledge of the subject
2. Andy and Stav go to a love guru's house to learn new sex positions
3. Kotchy decides to create a business and sells sex cards at school

Structure of stories: 
Issue 1: Hara is finding it difficult to remember all the information for her lecture
Event: During the lecture room Mr Conrad calls Hara out to debate an issue. Hara fumbles about not knowing what to say as she can't remember any information
Conclusion: Uncle Panny comes storming into the lecture room calling out Haras name, while he is on the presentation as a online sex worker. Hara hides and leaves the lecture room.

Issue 2: Andy and Stav visit a Love Guru to learn new moves
Event: When first introduced the Love Guru was this cockny man, dressed down. He then changed completely into 'the love guru' (changed personality)
Conclusion: turns out he was gay and Andy discovered it when he was getting carried away dry humping Stav, who seemed oblivious. Later on, the love guru is revealed as the priest who Giagia Maria was expecting

Issue 3: Kotchy starts a business to earn money by selling Andy's sex cards
Event: Kotchy sells them in the school toilets to try and hide it from thee teachers.
Conclusion: He gets caught by the deputy principal and the headmistress suspends him for the day.

Episode 5

Stories: 
1. Hara is in a hurry to get to Mr Conrads talk on the environment
2. Uncle Panny and Pappou Andrea decide to fix the bathroom
3. While Andy is waiting for Giagia Maria to get her, her clothes go see through

Structure for stories:
Issue 1: Hara wants to impress Mr Conrad and pretend that she is also interested in the environment
Event: the car breaks down and Stav forces Hara to push the car in the rain. Hara slips and gets dirty. When she gets to uni she gets a literring ticket.
Conclusion: Hara bumps into Mr Conrad and makes a full of herself my accidentally brushing her hands against his penis

Issue 2: Uncle Panny and Pappou Andrea think they are capable of fixing the toilet seat
Event: The get drunk and convince themselves they can fix the whole bathroom and begin to rip out all the tubes
Conclusion: They end up flooding the whole bathroom, having to call someone to come and fix it

Issue 3: Andy helps Stav fix his car and Stav ends up abounding her in the rain
Event: As Andy is waiting for Yiayia Maria to come and get her, her clothes go see through revealing her nipples and bum
Conclusion: Andy gets home only to discover the bath room flooded and having to go to the neighbours to shower

Episode 6

Stories: 
1. Yiayia Maria prepares food for Hara's potential in laws
2. Hara decides to retaliate and creates a gothic persona
3.  Andy and Stav decide to role play and dress up as police officers

 Structure of stories: 
Issue 1: Yiayia prepares food all day for her guests
Event: she ends up burning all the food because of the commotion that keep going on in the house and her nerves
Conclusions: they order McDonalds to eat instead

Issue 2: Hara decides to retaliate by changing her appearance to look like a goth to scare away the guy
Event: While shopping for clothes Hara indulges herself in deep fried food from the street and McDonalds. Throughout the day her tummy hurt and she kept farting until she pooed herself
Conclusion: After cleaning herself up again, it's revealed that the guy was Mr Conrad and Hara once again humiliated herself.

Issue 3: Andy and Stav dress up as police officers and walk about London
Event: Andy stops outside a police station to take a selfie but they get dragged into an emergency with the rest of the police, about a bomb scare. They play along
Conclusion: Stav and Andy end up interviewing Mr Conrad who recognises them

Vivandy Productions  Director: Vivandy and F.C Rabbath  Written and Produced: F.C. Rabbath Synopsis: Its about 3 generations of women; the grandmother, mother and daughter. The same story is being repeated between grandmother and mother as well as mother and daughter. Each mother is trying to reconnect with her daughter; both being unsuccessful. What intrigued me:  Showing the mother getting prepared (I'm planning on doing something like that for my video)  portrayal of family drifting (arguing about being too busy for each other)  when she opens the bathroom cupboard when she's young and closes it when she's old (i like the technique it uses to show time passing)  having the same conversation with her daughter as she did with her mother  the way we are shown that there is an issue (phone call from doctor)  VO flashback to the same line she said her mother 'You're being selfish' = realisation the ending:

Evaluation

Writing the final versions of the script was fun, exciting but also a long process. Having a clear idea of what directions my episodes where going I wrote skeleton drafts to begin with and worked like that. With each new draft,  added new jokes, stories lines. With guidance from Simon and his suggestions for certain characters I did make a few changes to some story lines and slightly changed my characters personality. In the first few drafts of each episode Hara was becoming somewhat annoying and lacked a lot of humour. Therefore I decided to make her into a bit of a spiritual person who gives herself a pep talk in each episode but also one of those people who believes in positive thinking and constantly carries a positive thinking book with her, sage and incense.  Kotchy, didn't have much of a story, if you got rid of him you wouldn't even notice. Therefore I made him so that each time his family does something humiliating he captures it on camera or Sebastian does and he

Greek Cypriot Culture

Family: Family is very important in Greek society; either by blood or even marriage - when a relative marries someone that person becomes your koumbaro (for men) or koumbara (for women). Also, businesses are usually family run.  Food:  One of the most important things in Greek culture; famous Mediterranean food. Greek love to use fresh ingredients such as garlic, onions, fennel, zucchini, grapes, dates, figs and herbs (dill, mint and oregano). Meat is also a very important part of their diet; every Sunday families gather together for Souvla (basically a barbecue)  Food in tavernas are usually meze based meaning a variety of small portions of different types of food is served (usually over 20 different dishes) or there is also the famous Ouzeri where you are brought typically light food such as greek sasuges (pastourma) and halloumi to eat as you drink Ouzo.  Typical Greek Cypriot food:  tzantziki octopus dolmades (which is grape leaves filled with rice and beef
