Episode 2 - 6 Synopsis

The following synopsis are very details and scene to scene description of episode 2 to 6.

Episode Two 

One early gloomy Saturday morning, Andy is dressed in her yoga outfit enjoying her morning routine of drinking her luke warm water with honey and lemon. Sitting on the kitchen table is Pappou Andrea munching away on his toast dripping with honey moaning that his breakfast doesn’t taste the same without his home brewed Zivania. Uncle Panny, laughingly suggested they make their own Zivania, to which Pappou Andrea agrees in a heartbeat. Hara is sitting next to 3 empty mugs and sipping way on her fourth cup of coffee too nervous and jittery for her first day of university while Kotchy is peacefully eating his cereal in his school uniform. 

Andy unsure if she is at he right yoga class, looks down at the creased leaflet to reassure herself. Realising that she is at the right community centre she flicks the leaflet and walks in excited for her first yoga class. Being the flexible person she is, the teacher tells her how good she is, and with Any being all proud of herself whispers to the woman next to her tat she likes to feel free and uninhibited. The woman, all excitedly, invites Andy to a special couple evening where free love is welcomed; Andy thinking it is something spiritual accepts and plans on taking Zorba.

Throughout the day, Pappou Andrea  and Uncle Panny are downstairs playing scientists making their home brewed Zivania. Stepping on lots of grapes surrounded by pipes, tubes and bottles. 

Hara is in her first lecture with Mr Conrad and is convinced that there is chemistry between them and believes that each time he look or smiles at her it is personal and directed at her. Wanting to impress him, Hara tell Sebastian she will catch him later and goes up to Mr Conrad to tell how much his book inspired her. Feeling very flattered he invites her along to a social gathering that evening which he is having for some students - not realising he is saying the truth, Hara thinks he is asking her out and flirting with her and quickly accepts. Wanting to carry on the non-existing flirting she calls him by his first name maybe pushing the boundaries a bit too much, and apologises. 

In the evening time we see Andy and Zorba at the swingers part, where professional and established people are dressed in leather and sexy outfits. Andy all confused and is wondering if it was supposed to be fancy dress night. Zorba on the other hand, instantly realises what is going on and comes up with the idea to sells some Zivania to them. He quickly calls Uncle Panny to bring a few bottles. Pappou Andrea and Uncle Panny both showed up but were not allowed in because it s a couple only event - Uncle Panny puts his arm around Pappou Andrea and informs the gentlemen at the door that they are indeed a couple. Once inside, the men start pouring shots for everyone cheering ‘OPA’. Everyone is now tipsy, but suddenly people start to bloat and swell, get itchy, lips get bigger and rashes appear resulting in everyone tearing their clothes off to scratch their bodies better. The family realising that this is probably because of them make a run for it. During the same time, Hara is at Mr Conrad's house overly dressed and realises that she was not actually singled out. Wanting to drown her soarers she winds up drinking to much, arguing with love rivals and humiliating herself. As she gets up to leave the party she trips over the carpet onto the floor declaring her love to Mr Conrad and proceeds to throw up on the floor. 

With everyone back at the house, all around the kitchen, they begin to discuss what happened to them - Hara getting drunk and the swingers at the party hallucinating. Kotchy tries to explain to his family that certain chemicals should not be mixed as they cause bad reactions to humans. Pappou Andrea who has been sitting quietly at the end of the table wonder aloud if anyone switched the machine off. Before anyone could answer or rush downstairs, their is a loud explosion from downstairs, and everyone turns to look at the basement door which has black, thick smoke coming out from it and engulfs the characters. 

Episode 3 

Everybody all excited for their day is lounging about in the kitchen. Kotchy is lying in his sleeping bag next to his chemistry set practising for his sleepover. Yiayia Maria hurriedly packing tupperware in suitcases while Pappou Andrea shouts at her to hurry up and Hara is attempting to tell her mum all about the night she has planned. Andy is too preoccupied winking at Zorba. 

The doorbell begins to ring and Pappou Andrea staggers to open the door to the taxi driver. The taxi man puts their luggage into the ca and wanting to make small chit chat asks where they are going on holiday. Yiayia Maria assures the man that they are actually only going to Birmingham for the night and that you can never have too many things with you. Meanwhile, Andy is dropping Kotchy off, who is still in his chemistry goggles, at his friends house. They show up at a big house where the ringing of the bell can be heard echoing in the house. Holding his chemistry set in hands, Kotchy is hurried inside by some butler and the door is closed on Andy, leaving Kotchy on his own in the big house. 

Back in Birmingham, Yiayia Maria and Pappou Andrea are at his brothers house. Yiayia Maria begins to unpack all the tupperware’s from the suitcase telling her sister in law what she made for her. Suddenly it becomes a competitions with the sister in law taking the same foods out of the fridge, informing Yiayia Maria that she can cook those foods as well. Soon the two women are bickering about what ingredients were used. In the garden the two men are drinking Zivania and discussing politics where an arguments begin to form between the two brothers. 

In Hara’s bedroom in London, she is surrounded by her friends trying on different outfits with the clothes piling up. Her friends are shaking their head until Hara finally finds an outfit everyone can agree on. Their ride arrives and they all pile into the car and make their way for the clubs. But, things back in Birmingham aren’t looking good as Pappou Andrea is shouting at Yiayia Maria to pack everything up again because wont stay another minute in this house with his brother. 

Andy and Zorba think they finally have the house to themselves. Andy is wearing sexy lingerie, lighting candles in the bedroom and spraying perfume on her self. Zorba is laying on the bed wearing a leopard thong pretending to be the greek God Zeus. Meanwhile, Hara and her friends can’t seem to find parking§g, so by the time they walk to the club and wait in the long cue, face control wont let them inside the club. Annoyed they end up going for a quick snack to McDonalds only to realise that their car has been clamped and towed away, resulting in Hara having to call Zorba to come an get them. 

Just as Andy and Zorba are getting into the mood, and Andy is feeding Zorba the last grape they are interrupted by Hara needing a ride. Zorba picks up Hara in their white van, making everyone sit in the back with the tools where they are getting thrown about. Eventually, they get home and Andy is in joggers drinking tea. As they all gather round the table, in storm Yiayia Maria and Pappou Andrea shouting at one another. Yiayia Maria begins to unload all the food she cooked and how it has all gone to waste because of Pappou Andreas temper. Whilst everyone is helping Yiayia Maria unpack the food until the doorbell begins to ring again. Not knowing who to expect, Andy opens the door to find Ketches standing there with two fire men behind him and the fire engine with flashing lights and he is holding a dismantled chemistry set. 

Episode 4 

On a rainy day, the family is sitting in the kitchen having breakfast. Yiayia Maria is informing the family that an old family friend who used to be a monk is coming over for dinner and expects everyone to be on their best behaviour, while Andy is informing her mum, Yiayia Maria, that she is going with Stav to a love Guru to try and spice up her marriage with Stav. 

Hara is sitting on the table starring at her notes on online sex chats , all exasperated. In her hurry to be on time for her lecture she forgets her notes behind while Sebastian admits he is looking forward to seeing all the pictures of naked women and Pappou Andrea wants to know if he is allowed to attend the lecture as well. 

Kotchy is rummaging through his mums bag looking for lunch money and comes across Ancient Greece sex cards. Quickly, before anyone can see him, he shuffles them into his school bag and rushes off. Pappou Andrea is given orders on what to buy for dinner tonight from Yiayia Maria and he is quickly rushed out of the house as well. 

Andy and Stav find themselves standing outside the love guru’s house and ring his doorbell, and are surprised to see him answering in underpants. The love Guru then leads them into a room full of scented candles and two exercise mats in the middle of the room. Stav and Andy are instructed to relax and take off their clothes, meanwhile the love Guru puts dolphin matting sounds as a background. Stav and Andy begin to oil each other up, play twister and try out different sexual positions. 

In the meantime, back at the house, Yiayia Maria notices that Hara forgot her notes at home and tells Uncle Panny to tush over to her uni and give them to Hara. The lecture room is full of people all squeezed together. On the projector screen there are pictures of online sex workers, and everyone judges them by saying who would do this kind of work, considering the morals and ethics. Mr Conrad asks everyone to take out their notes at which point Hara realises she forget them. 

At Kotchy’s secondary school we see him hiding in the boys toilet in one of the cubicles. One classmate is standing outside the toilet door on teacher watch, and one by one we see various boys entering the same cubicle as Kotchy and buy the naughty playing cards he stole from Andy’s bag. But, one of the teachers notices and catches Kotchy in the act and is sent to the headmistresses office. 

Pappou Andrea is out shopping for dinner until he comes across and Ann Summer’s store. Pappou Andrea begins to fantasise Yiayia Maria in one of the skimpy outfits, his imagination is cut short though when Yiayia Maria rings him to tell him to go to Kotchy’s school because he is in trouble. Pappou Andrea walks out holding an Ann Summers bag with him. 

Back at the love Guru’s house, he is seen telling Andy she is doing a sexual position wrong and begins to demonstrate for her how it is done on Stav. As the Guru gets carried away, Andy notices all the pictures on the wall of naked men. Andy looses her temper and punches the Guru. Stav is all confused until he finally notices the pictures as well, and as the Guru is coming round from the first punch Stav punches him again. 

In the headmistress office Pappou Andrea is being informed that Kotchy got caught selling sex cards. Not getting the headmistress point, Pappou Andrea is angry at Kotchy for selling the cards instead of giving them away for free like a nice good Greek boy would. The headmistress continues to try and explain that that is not what the issues is, she then clocks the Ann Summers bag and looks back at Pappou Andrea, who winks at her and says “We are Greek”. 

Back at Hara’s lecture, Mr Conrad comes up to a slide with Uncle Panny laying on a bed looking sexy. Hara, Chantelle and Sebastian all recognise who he is and gasp, at the same time, Uncle Panny storms into the room switching on the lights. Everyone stares at Uncle Panny and then back the projector screen with a naked picture of him and then looking at Hara. 

Towards the end of the day, Yiayia Maria has set the kitchen up like a feats and in walk Kotchy and Pappou Andrea. From Yiayia Marias anger she slaps Kotchy but Pappou Andrea defends him for just being a typical Greek boy. Meanwhile, Andy and Stav come home, shouting at each other with Stav blaming Andy that she is the one who wanted to go to a live Guru in the first place. Finally, in walk Hara, Chantelle, Sebastian and Uncle Panny with Hara shouting at Panny for ruining her life. Amused, Chantelle asks for a discount and Sebastian is in hysterics asking Hara if she has any hidden talents as well. 

Kotchy pulls out a box of edible knickers side XXXX Large. Pappou Andrea slaps Kotchy and goes to grab them but Yiayia Maria gets their first and begins to shout at Pappou Andrea and wants to know if he is having an affair. Kotchy walks off to answer a ringing doorbell, and in walks the love Guru dressed as a priest. Everyone stops talking and looks at the Guru. Stav scrabbles over the table and chases him while everyone is confused. Kotchy gives up and just eats the chocolates knickers. 

Episode 5 

Andy is discussing with Stav about their dinner before he rushes off for a job and to drop of Hara, Sebastian and Chantelle at university. Kotchy is revising for an upcoming exam that he has, Uncle Panny and Pappou Andrea are discussing how they are going to do DIY in the bathroom to repair a few things. Andy wants to meditate in her special sanctuary for universal love day and Yiayia Maria is planning a nice big greek dinner, with moussaka, chicken pie, potatoes and salad. 

As they are driving, Stav gets  flat tyre causing the car to break down and making the kids late for university. Trying to fix the situation he tries ringing everyone; Andy is not answering as she is meditating, Panny can’t answer his phone as his hand is down the toilet, Pappou Andrea can’t answer his as he is holding pipes for Panny but eventually Yiayia Maria is able to answer hers. Once she hears what Stav has to say she quickly rushes to tell Andy and discuss that they will take two cars to give one to Stav and come back in the other together. Meanwhile Pappou Andrea and Uncle Panny break the water pipes in the house and leave to go to the store to buy new ones. 

On their way to Stav, Yiayia Maria loses sight of Andy as she gets stuck behind a truck and cannot remember where she is supposed to go. Also, she forgot her phone at home and is unable to ring Andy.  As Andy pulls up to Stav she realises that Yiayia Maria is missing and begins to panic thinking she is in an accident as she wont answer her phone. Andy tell Hara to just get going and she will keep trying to get hold of Panny or Yiayia. 

Yiayia Maria has arrived at home but cannot get in since her keys are in the house and none else is home. She walks down to her greek neighbour to borrow the phone. Once she rings Andy and explains to her what happened, Andy is frustrated as they are waiting in the street and it has began to rain. But, once Pappou Andrea and Panny are back at the house they end up making the situation worse and flood the bathroom and bedroom. Back at the broken down car, Andy is wearing a white silky dress which has ended up being see through because of the rain, and all she wants is a nice hot bath but is angry and infuriated when she gets home. Everyone stays shouting until Andy calls a plumber and rushes to take Kotchy to a private maths lesson. 

While dropping off Kotchy her friend joins her in the car as well and they begin to discuss the hectic day Andy has head. As they set off to grab a coffee, Andys friend realises that she forgot her keys in the car and they have to rush back. Unfortunately the car is locked and they have to call the rescue service which took them an hour. Once they managed to open the car they still couldn't find the keys even though everyone searched. Her friend rushes into the institute and quickly comes up dangling keys in front of her and the rescue service just thinking he is dealing with dumb women. Turns out her son was holding them while they waited for Andy to arrive and forgot to give them back. 

As Hara rushes into university, she accidentally bumps into Mr Conrad and all his papers go flying everywhere. While she helps him collect them, they lock eyes but he pulls away and looks really embarrassed. 

Eventually everyone arrives home. Stav has fixed the car, Andy and Kotchy come home while the plumber leaves, Hara walks in with the others all starry eyed and floating on air. Uncle Panny and Pappou Andrea are drinking Zivania while they congratulate themselves on fixing the bathroom while Yiayia Maria laughs at them. In the end, Stav and Andy are too tired to go out and everyone sits around the table to enjoy the food. 

Episode 6 

As Yiayia Maria has arranged for Hara to meet a boy that evening Hara decides to rebel. She ends up going to Camden Market and ditching school. She buys ugly clothes, hair dye and outrages thing to make herself look gothic. 

Meanwhile, Andy and Stav have decided to do some role playing and end up buying police outfits. They were the outfits and walk about like police and end up at the station taking selfies. Suddenly due to a bomb alert at Hara’s university, police come rushing out and jump into vans, forcing Andy and Stav to tag along to not get caught. When they arrive at the Law facilities, they are asked to interview witnesses and one of them is Mr Conrad. He thinks he recognises them but isn't too sure as the continue acting like real cops and asking stupid questions and getting bewildered looks from him. He quickly rushes off making an excuse that he has a meeting and we see Stav and Andy running to catch the bus to go home. 

Once home Yiayia Maria and Pappou Andrea welcome their guest for the evening and their grandson; Mr Conrad. There is great shock when Hara presents her gothic look and is embarrassed to see that her date was Mr Conrad. Yiayia Maria boast about Andy and Stav and their job but is just embarrassed when they both walk in still in the police outfit and come face to face with everyone including Mr Conrad who recognises them. Meanwhile Kotchy is taking picture of everyones shocked reactions which are revealed at the end of the scene.
