Camera Workshops 18th - 22nd January

First Directing Workshop 

For this workshop we had to re-enact a scene from Atonement where the two main characters were reunited after a few years. The main idea was to direct that scene in our style and how we felt it would be right. Here is the way I imagined it:


              

7D Cannon Camera Workshop 

Unfortunately for this workshop I was sick. What happened on this day was that Ferg went over the basic of the camera and split the class into groups where they had to make a 2 minute music video.

Lighting Workshop 1

In this workshop we used Tungsten lights and got to play around with the filters. We were split into groups (my group was Sammi and Ida). This is what we did:


             









               

Lighting Workshop 2 

In the second workshop we went over some lighting techniques. In my group was Sammi, Becca and Nisserin. We decided to use the lecture room upstairs which had natural lighting coming in. It had high light and we attempted to make it look as naturalistic as possible. Below are screen shots of our results and diagrams that showed the lighting position:

We were given a silent clip for Simon and had to do the sound design of the clip. This is what me and Ida came up with;
