  • To become a writer you have to distance yourself from everything
  • look at everything around you
  • there is no sad or bad story - everything you experience can be created into a great story
  • doesn't matter if you are a great screenwriter; you never truly know about the business
  •  until your screenplay is being filmed
  • doens't matter how good the script is; if the actors are bad then the movie is bad
How has Ephrons directing inspired me?

I love the way in which she directs. In most of her movies we see the both sides of the story (the females and the males) which is something different.

I like the warm colours that most of her movies have; the brown colour shows the romance and the drama between the characters. My scene is dramatic (instead of romantic) but I still want to use warm/dark colours. So their faces have a warm colour but the rest is more dark.
